Academics

The sisters of Zeta Gamma are committed to lifelong learning as exemplified in ZTA's nine key values. Through the academic programming conducted in our chapter, each sister masters and applies the characteristics of responsibility, consistency, goal-setting, professionalism, and curiosity to succeed on the lifelong journey of academic excellence.

Our sisters work diligently inside and outside of the classroom to achieve in their academics. Sisters are held accountable for their academics by logging their weekly study hours, attending study tables hosted by Executive Council members, and reaching their goals at midterm and final study sessions. To contribute to the success of our chapter, we also host local professional speakers who enlighten our sisters about topics such as dressing for success, maintaining a financial well-being, and the importance of mental health and self-care.

The Zeta Gamma chapter also strives to individually recognize each member who attains their academic goals. Our Academic Achievement Chairperson hosts the Dean's Dinner, which is a celebratory event that recognizes those individuals who have earned their spot on the Dean's or President's List. We also celebrate our members by reading Academic Achievements in meeting, and holding monthly prize drawings for sisters who send in their study hours on time, and meet their academic goals.
